realllly good!!
2 lbs potatoes 2 cups milk 1 1/2 cups heavy cream 1 clove garlic, chopped 3/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 Tbsp butter 1/2 cup grated swiss cheese
Peel and wash potatoes. Slice 1/8 inch thick. Place in large saucepan. Add milk, cream, garlic, salt, pepper. Bring to a boil. Heat oven to 400. Remove pan from heat and pour into casserole greased with butter. Sprinkle cheese over top and bake 1 hour. Reduce heat to 375 if too brown. Stand 15 to 20 mins before serving. (I usually increase the recipe by another 50% of each ingredient)
